The joys of messed up sleep schedules. Between last week's late night and asthma attacks, my sleeping schedule is wacked. I've been watching Food Network all night while trying to get work done. Just took out all the trash. Finally remembered to take out the TV stand that I've been meaning to put on the sidewalk for the past 3 trash days. Hoping someone sees it and takes it. It's in good condition, but I wanted it out of my room, it was taking up too much space and had become a flat filing cabinet.

I've been actively watching One Model Place (site for models looking for work) for the past year or so. I've emailed a handful of beginner models looking for people to get into the studio. Tonight I confirmed the first person from OMP to come into the studio. She has no modeling experience, and has no decent shots for her profile, so we'll see what becomes of it. The shoot is set for May 10th. I am hoping to have the studio re-arranged by then with a bit more space to move around in.

There was just a loud crashing sound outside. Looked and it seems one of the neighbor's trash barrels either fell over on it's own or was tipped by an animal. I am guessing on the latter of the two. One of these nights I am going to take friday off from work grab the camera and go looking for night creatures eating from the trash.

Speaking of food network. I want to try this recipe.

I am getting hungry, maybe chicken nuggets.

One thing I do for work is buy snacks as we have no vending machine and the nearest store is a bit of a walk. I get them at BJs so they are bulk. One of the things I bought was a box of planters nuts. Basically a variety pack. I figured nuts are healty, and a good choice to have. Today I was eating a bag of peanuts, and to my surprise. 320 calories for one serving of peanuts. (luckily I can never eat an entire serving or some reason).

Reminder

A couple years ago at SMF the 501st was able to make user of some studio equipment that was on load to [livejournal.com profile] tk7602 It was a drive chain system for the backdrops, which were bought on ebay by the person loaning them out. I'd like to be able to have 2 rolls of paper on the background supports so I don't have to keep taking them down when I switch colors. I've seen wall mounted drive systems on ebay but I can't just go putting holes in the wall (windows in the way etc...), so I am interested in getting the clamp ones that hook up to my backdrop system, but they are a bitch to find all the little pieces for. Tonight I figured out who the manufacture is of some of the parts and their respective model numbers. This is a reminder as to what they are, so when I decide to get them, I can.

2915 Super Clamp by Manfrotto. is the clamping device. (these buggers are $30 each before shipping.)
The actual chain drives and hooks are Bogen
Now there's this little plastic stud thing (that I could probably duplicate with a block of wood and a couple screws, or sometime inventive like that) that I am not sure what to call it.

BH Photo carries 1/2 of what I am looking for in a kit.

It just doesn't include the drive chains, they sell those for $51 each!!!
Or I could just buy them from ebay

It'd come with 2 more sets of rails, but I could save those for extra, or sell them back on ebay.

Looking at prices individually it's expensive. I don't need them now, but it's nice to have a place to go to remember what the hell it is I am looking for if I do decide to get them in the future.

Need to go to bed earlier them 4am
